We received a call today on our spare line from a security company looking to expand their adverting into our area. They offered us free service in exchange for putting a sign in our yard.
But if we're the only house in the area with a security company sign in the front yard... wouldn't it make thieves think that there is something to steal here?
Hey look at us we have enough money to afford to pay someone to secure our stuff we must have a lot of really cool things in here!

I would never trust a "free" deal....There are lots of scams out there. I think you made a good call.
ReplyDeleteso funny...I've heard of people just buying the sign so thieves think there's a security system. I think Jodi's right- you have to be careful of scammers.
